THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
You are blessed Beings; you have come forth into this physical environment to create. There is nothing holding you back, other than your own contradictory thought. And your emotion tells you you're doing that. Life is supposed to be fun—it is supposed to feel good! - Abraham Hicks

  5. Lydia, you're going to love this. I recently got banned from tammybruce.com. I was accused by her and her minions of being a Palin-hating liberal.....I guess that it all boils down to one's perspective, huh?......P.S. I've also been adding feverishly to my classic film collection. I picked up "Leave Her to Heaven" with Gene Tierney, Cornell Wilde, and Jeanne Crain and I just picked up Orson Welles's classic "Touch of Evil" (the restored to Welles's original vision version) - also starring Chuck Heston and Janet Leigh. I've totally got the fever, my friend.

  8. Lydia, one of my favorite classic actresses of late is Teresa Wright ("Shadow of a Doubt", "The Best Years of Our Lives", "Mrs. Miniver", etc.). I liked her 1) because of her extraordinary talent and 2) because she didn't want to play the game of what was then an even more male dominated industry. Yeah, it hurt her career in the long run. But it also showed how just much integrity she had.

  9. I forgot "The Little Foxes" and "The Pride of the Yankees". She was off the charts good in those 2 classics, too......Yeah, I kind of had a feeling that would appreciate her.

  10. Hmmm, I see Kelsey Grammer is starting a conservative network?

    I thought conservatism was dead?
