JOHN EDWARDS vs. NEWT GINGRICH: WHO HAS FAMILY VALUES?

SATURDAY MORNING TUNE IN LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS and LOS ANGELES to our show BASHAM AND CORNELL PROGRESSIVE TALK
from 9 - 10 a.m. We broadcast live -- or go to our website and click on the link to hear the entire show in the archives.

Upcoming: Congressman Charles Rangel will be our guest April 14. He will discuss his 30-year Congressional career and his new book, "And I Haven't Had a Bad Day Since: From the Streets of Harlem to the Halls of Congress." Recently our guest was Mark Green, one of the new owners of Air America, founder of New Democracy Project and author of "Losing Our Democracy." We've had some amazing guests the past 3 weeks: former federal prosecutor Elizabeth de la Vega, author of "U.S. vs BUSH" which is going to be a movie, a courtroom drama on the Bush Impeachment. We also had Media Matters' Paul Waldman, author of "Being Right is Not Enough".

JOHN EDWARDS vs. NEWT GINGRICH
Interesting, isn’t it, that Newt Gingrich didn’t stand by his wife Jackie on her deathbead when she was dying of cancer, but instead left her for another woman, yet he claims to be the party of “traditional family values!” John Edwards not only stands by his wife as she admits her cancer is incurable — as any moral person would — but unlike Gingrich, Edwards never cheated on his wife, and has never switched wives. John and Elizabeth Edwards have been married to her for 30 years and now.

CHEERS and Blessings to John and Elizabeth Edwards. The courage it takes to be optimistic in the face of Mrs. Edwards' returning cancer is exactly what this country needs. I believe John Edwards will be our next president. Though I love Obama and admire Hilary, I think Edwards stands the best chance of actually winning America's vote and heart. He is an incredible human being.

Thanks SEAN POMPANO (the Flavor Spray Diet) and JOE GANNASCOLI (Sopranos) for inviting me on your show! I just did the greatest New York radio show, "Chewin The Fat" on FM 98.5 WBZB, Business Talk New York® with Joe Gannascoli (Vito of The Sopranos) and Sean Pompano. These guys are hilarious and doing great things for people with their new show.
