LYDIA CORNELL'S TEMPORARY NEW BLOG

Rest in Peace Lynn Redgrave.

Please watch the video below; I have been unable to stop _______ and it's been  over a month. Not to keep you in suspense, but watch it and see what I mean.

THE GULF OIL SPILL

The law of physics: For every action, there is a reaction.

Please leave comments here on the Gulf Oil Spill and how Obama is handling it. Or the consumer/banking protection bill, or on anything else that's on your mind. Did anyone hear Rush Limbaugh say he thought the environmentalists caused the oil spill on purpose, to thwart future drilling!????  This blog will soon be moved back to the website under a new format.

WHEN YOU ARE FRUSTRATED WITH LIFE, HERE ARE SOME GREAT IDEAS:

1. Sit In Your Parked Car With Sunglasses on and point a Hair Dryer At Passing Cars. See If They Slow Down.
2. Every Time Someone Asks You To Do Something, ask If They Want Fries with that.
3. In the Memo Field Of All Your Checks, Write ' For Marijuana.'
4. Page Yourself Over The Intercom. Don't Disguise Your Voice!
5. When The Money Comes Out The ATM, Scream 'I Won! I Won!'
6. When Leaving the Zoo, Start Running towards the Parking lot, Yelling 'Run For Your Lives! They're Loose!'
7. Tell Your Children Over Dinner, 'Due To The Economy, We Are Going To Have To Let One Of You Go.'
8. PICK UP A BOX OF CONDOMS AT THE PHARMACY, GO TO THE COUNTER AND ASK WHERE THE FITTING ROOM IS.

  3. Lynn Redgrave was an extraordinary actress. Losing her, Jennifer Jones, and Jean Simmons, all in such a short perid of time, has made it, yeah, a pretty bad year indeed.

  4. Yes, I agree. It's so shocking when we lose people like this. I still can't believe John Ritter died so young!!

  5. Who is Anonymous talking to? I don't see a comment from Mike.

  6. Lydia, did you ever see "Gods and Monsters"? Redgrave's performance in that film was absolutely flawless. My only regret is that I never got a chance to see her on stage.

  7. Yes, and a friend of mine produced Gods and Monsters.

Wow, I had forgotten about her in that film. Amazing.
