George Clooney is considered a sex symbol. He is 55 years old. Can you imagine if any FEMALE  sex symbol or actress who played the "love interest" in a modern film looked like this? Can you imagine if Michelle Pfeiffer was allowed to have forehead wrinkles and crows feet?  She only would be playing the witch or the shrew. Never the love interest.

Yet Michelle Pfeiffer is older than Clooney, but has never been caught having anything other than "nubile flesh or baby skin. Women are expected to always look young.

It's outrageous.

A friend of mine worked at Aaron Spelling's company and sat in on the dailies for the show "Charmed." She said the male producers would sit in there and gossip mercilessly about the actresses Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan. They would say things like "Boy she has cellulite. What's with

FOCAL does have many limitations—beyond the fact that it requires technology that no one has built. Gravitational lenses are uniquely distorting. For example, in this photo from the Hubble Space Telescope, a cluster of galaxies acts as a gravitational lens, magnifying a single galaxy far, far beyond it, which would ordinarily be invisible to us. Due to the physics of gravitational lenses, the galaxy appears multiple times, in a ring. Resolving such distortion is complicated enough with optical images in which we already have a rough idea of what the observed object looks like. A radio message from an alien civilization would be even more challenging to reconstruct.

It would be great to have more women directors. I was honored at the Los Angeles Movie Awards for directing It's My Decision, a mafia comedy, written by Ralph Odierna and produced by Tetia E. Stroud. Damian Martorana edited and Frank Buono was DP.  What artistry!  Buono did Julianne Moore's "Children of Men."  

And I am so excited to have finally finished writing 40 episodes and a 3-book series, and to be directing original upcoming comedy projects.

We should encourage more women to break through the glass ceiling. Here are some startling statistics:

WOULD YOU SAVE YOUR PET OR A STRANGER'S CHILD? MORAL DILEMMA

Would You Save a Puppy or a Child From a Burning Building?

Moral Dilemma: If you were in a burning building and had a chance to save either your own pet or a neighbor's child ~  which would you save?

But.. I would like to tally the responses for sociological research on a movie I'm writing.

I guess we are animals, after all, and I shouldn't be so shocked that we might not save the stranger's child.  I am making no moral judgment here.

Back To the Burning Building

Now let’s return to the yelping dog and the screaming baby in the burning building. For me, this one is a no-brainer. I am going to grab the kid and head for the nearest exit (even if it was my dog and kid was a brat). The animal activist Joan Dunayer would charge me with being a speciesist for reflexively saving the child. In her book Speciesism, she proposes a different approach to solving tough moral issues involving animals. She says that when faced with rescuing a child or a dog from death by fire you should reach in your pocket for a quarter -- and flip the coin. After all, Dunayer argues, the child and the dog have the same moral value.

I disagree. What do you think?

DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY: OVERCOME DEPRESSION ~ YOUR THOUGHTS CREATE YOUR REALITY

Your emotional and financial state of mind has everything to do with your thoughts.

I no longer find man's dark side interesting. After so many wars, crimes, bizarre murders and psychopathology - and after being the victim of two stalkers in the last two years (one who sued Kelsey Grammer using my name and I can't get the fake stories taken off social media,) I am now bored with the criminal mind. America's fixation with violence is getting old. I once wrote an article about Ann Coulter entitled: "Death is Sexier than Sex."  Well after so many violent movies kill flicks and scuzz films, I've had enough.

In fact,  the mortal realm with all its grisly hyper-sexualized fixation with body parts, bad habits, and human behavior at its worst is so boring already.

I am interested in what makes good people tick.  How do they overcome their lower nature?

I wrote a line in a movie "The Venus Conspiracy" in which Lexy, the optimistic protaganist, says to her abusive-therapist-sister and analyst — (who believes in being very anal and analyzing everything) —  "I think I'm going to stop worrying and analyzing my problems for just one day and see what happens."

Her sister warns, "What are you, nuts? You have to analyze your problems or they might go away!"

"Exactly."

Withdraw your attention from your enemies nad they expire from neglect. The only way to conquer evil is to replace it with good. When you are spiraling down the bottomless pit of self pity and despair, immediately think iof ONE THING TO BE GRATEFUL FOR. Add a new one each hour.

Also, turn your attention if you can to another's problems. Reach out and help someone else. Lift someone up.

"Depression is caused by thinking depressing thoughts."  Duh. But how do you overcome your own negative dark thinking?

By replacing it with loving thoughts. By immediately thinking of 5 things to be grateful for.
A woman I know was diagnosed with cancer, was told by a Christian healer to think of one new thing to be grateful for each day. She was told to make a list. Each day she added new ones. By the end of 90 days, her cancer was gone. Try it. No matter what dis-ease is trying to take hold, don't buy it. Don't put another god before Good. Don't make cancer or any illness more powerful that the love that created you.

It's like being a stroke victim. I have a friend who had a stroke. He is now incapacitated and in a wheelchair. He has spent most of his life pissed off, grumbling, and mad as hell at the "powers that be." He refuses to believe in a power greater than himself. I love my friend. But he has no idea that his thoughts created his "reality" and brought him to his knees.

He can reverse this in one instant, if he immediately starts to seek the light. THis is not religious, it's actually cellular. Science proves love. Love is God. At least that's what I have come to learn, and I can prove it.

God is simply the power of love. That is all. It's just a simple surrender. Stop fighting anything and everything and everyone.

Your thoughts create your reality.

I am always shocked when I hear people say "I hate this or I hate that..." Don't they know that the word hate is a killer?  It's like drinking poison.

You can't afford to hate anyone.

There is nothing in the mortal realm that has any power over you, if it comes from dark, negative place, it is nothing. Fear is false eveidence appearing real. Don't be ruled by false prophets. Only GOOD is real and has Source.

Love really heals. Love makes the world go round. If you can't think a positive thought, then go look at a puppy's face. Go to the zoo and watch the animals. Go watch a comedy and eat some ice cream,

Dont worry, be happy.
