BREAKING THE LAW

WITH EVERY LIE, THEY BREAK THE LAW, as well as the moral code and the laws of nature. MICHELLE BACHMAN, MARK LEVIN, SARAH PALIN, GLEN BECK, RUSH LIMBAUGH, SEAN HANNITY, DICK CHENEY, KARL ROVE, et al

.... America has broken the laws of nature: choosing to spend our treasure on WAR and DEATH instead of HEALTH CARE and LIFE. Focusing on the fetal tissue rather than already living, breathing citizens who need food, heat and water and health care. This is an abomination that is being punished by reality.

THE COST OF WAR vs THE COST OF HEALTH CARE

By their fruits you know them: trillion dollar war resulting in destruction and death. Collapsed economy as a result of greed and elitism and lies.

America is suffering from breaking the laws of nature. Cheney and Bush lied us into a war based on oil, greed and false motives. The lie is always the beginning of breaking the moral law, the law of good. So-called "Christians" of the right wing actually think God cares about fetal tissue and punishing gay people for daring to be gay. But God only cares about how we treat each other. They are filled with hate and arrogance, just like the pharisees of Christ's time. They are crucifying Love, and Christ all over again.

The killings, the corruption, the stealing, the continuing lies about free health care for every citizen -- calling free health care and free help "death panels" ??? and Dachau concentration camps and the principle of good: treat each human being as you want to be treated, even if he's poor, or gay or addicted or female or Black or Latino or Muslim.

First let me say this: I do not believe in a devil or in an anthropomorphic "God" - a man-like God sitting in the sky. I believe in the law of Love, the power of good which is the Christ Truth within each of us. This has nothing to do with religion. All religion is man-made. Jesus himself did not like religion or the religious leaders, the Pharisees. He called them hypocrites. The Kingdom is within us. This is the law of the universe. What you give out, you receive back.

Our nation is suffering from breaking the law of love. Michelle Bachman is the consummate liar. And she is the opposite of love.

God in this sense, as LOVE, is actually scientific. In other words, healing happens when we are loving. It is proven on a biochemical level. You can measure your serenity or agitation based on the thoughts you think. Monks who meditate on love each day, and send loving thoughts out to the suffering world, have brains that healthier, with few if any scars caused by stress, fear and worry.

Metaphorically, the serpent, the liar, the devil is always the ACCUSER. The one with the loudest, most aggressive voice. The one who shouts down all good deeds. The one who covers a bad motive with a good motive. The one who takes from the poor to give to the rich. The meek shall inherit the earth.

We are supposed to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. But America has lost it's way. We have broken the laws of nature, the principle of the universe: the Golden Rule, the Law of Love. We have followed the serpent: The one who comforts the comfortable and dismisses the afflicted.

There is no such thing as a "modern" Christian. This person is not a Christian, if you mean a politically vocal evangelical American fundamentalist.

This is the anti-christ.

Judgmental "Christian" Fundamentalists who go by the old Testament, judge others, cast stones, collect guns, love war, believe and speak lies (tea-baggers, birthers, Glen Beck, Michelle Bachman, abortion doctor murderers, gay-haters; Kennedy haters who never forgive humbly redeemed souls their mistakes or crimes) all of whom ignore Christ's teachings completely, leaving the love and forgiveness out of their evangelism, are the exact opposite of Christ.

By their fruits you shall know them. America's fruits: suicidal soldiers, choosing to spend our treasure on WAR AND DEATH instead of HEALTH CARE AND LIFE. Focusing on the fetal tissue rather than breathing living citizens who need heat and water and health care. This is an abomination that will be punished by reality.

By their fruits you shall know them: trillion dollar war costs resulting in destruction and death. Collapsed economy as a result of greed and elitism and lies.

America is suffering from breaking the laws of nature and the principle of good: treat each human being as you want to be treated, even if he's poor, or gay or addicted or female or Black or Latino or Muslim.

After all, Hitler was white and "Christian." Did race matter then?

MAJOR NIDAL MALIK HASAN FORT HOOD SUSPECT STILL ALIVE

Please leave comments here and let us know what you think is going on, what the most likely scenario is. Is Hasan a member of a domestic sleeper cell, a lifelong terrorist in training, who was groomed to inflitrate the U.S. military and become one of us, in order to stage a mass killing? Or is he a mentally unstable doctor who turned against his fellow soldiers and patients? What motivated him?

General Details Chaotic Scene After Deadly Shooting At Military Base... Suspect In Custody, In Stable Condition... Allegedly Sympathized With Suicide Bombers In Writings
FORT HOOD, Texas — An Army psychiatrist set to be shipped overseas opened fire at the Fort Hood Army post Thursday, authorites said, a rampage that killed 12 people and left 31 wounded in the worst mass shooting ever at a military base in the United States.

The gunman, first said to have been killed, was wounded but alive and in stable condition under military guard, said Lt. Gen. Bob Cone at Fort Hood. "I would say his death is not imminent," Cone said. Col. Ben Danner said the suspect was shot at least four times.

The man was identified as Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a 39-year-old, eight-year veteran from Virginia.
President Barack Obama called the shooting at the Soldier Readiness Center, where soldiers who are about to be deployed or who are returning undergo medical screening, "a horrific outburst of violence."

"It's difficult enough when we lose these brave Americans in battles overseas," the commander in chief said. "It is horrifying that they should come under fire at an Army base on American soil."

  1. Why am I a hypocrite (is being called a hypocrite an attack, Lydia?), Clif? I, unlike you attack both sides. I'm just as hard on Sean Hannity as I am on Olbermann. And, I, unlike you, am against war mongering/rendition/warrantless wire-taps whether it's a Democrat or a Republican doing them. And your corporate owned MSM argumenst are literally incoherent. For every example of right-wing bias coming from the MSM, somebody else could literally point to ten examples of left leaning bias. Newsweek literally had Obama on the cover every other week leading up to the election. Was that a corporate induced phenomenon? LOL

  3. Since Will doesn't see fit to comment on the subject at hand, allow me to take a shot.

I do not believe Hasan is part of any sleeper cell. I believe he is a man who was driven to this insane act by his family, religion, patients, and the recent orders to ship to Iraq.

Here we have a man who, since 9/11, has been scared to death that he would end up being sent to serve on Muslim territory. His family, I believe they're Jordanian, was opposed to him going to Iraq on religious grounds. In addition, in his role as a therapist, he has heard hundreds, if not thousands, of horror stories about what is happening in Iraq and Afghanistan. It certainly wouldn't be the first time a doctor's empathy with patients has driven him or her to acts that would normally be out of the realm of possibility for that person.

An AAMC report released this past December stated, in part: Doctors' looming suicide rates may stem from a higher propensity for depression. Personality traits like compassion, sensitivity, and empathy may lead people into medicine but also make them more susceptible to mental illness, Clayton said. Interestingly, the AFSP finds no evidence that physicians' workload contributes to depression.

Of course, this is all supposition on my part, but without more evidence about Hasan, his past, etc. I have no way of knowing and - by extension - neither does anyone else.

  4. Yea it seems like he just cracked. I mean think about it. He already was known for being mentally disturbed (a common issue it seems among the psychiatric community) and was being monitored. Which makes one wonder why the military would be sending an unstable fledgling psychiatrist over to Iraq to counsel disturbed soldiers. Seems like someone dropped the ball there.

But I imagine this guy who was already working with disturbed soldiers and PTSD cases returning from Iraq was inundated with horror stories of what's going on over there and what they face every day, and when he found out he had to go he probably just cracked or something.

Of course there is the issue of the arrest of two other suspects, which does give one pause. Its possible this is more than that so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

For now I'll be careful speculating beyond that out of general respect for the dead and the families they leave behind.

This was a tragic incident and is just another example of why it is more important than ever for this "Christian Country" to heed the warnings of Christ when he warned us that those who live by the sword will perish by the sword.

Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword Matt 26:52

Spreading war, death and killing is never likely to produce good results.

But don't try to tell a modern "Christian" that.

  6. Bachmann is a product of Midwestern hypocrisy - I see it on a daily basis - and Oral Roberts University. However, not even those two disabilities should be enough to make her say some of the things that come out of her mouth. That, I'm afraid, we'll have to blame on her mental illness.

He told us when to look for it.

So now, all we have to do is open our eyes and our ears to see and hear the fruits of the likes of these people and their new apparent leader, Michelle Bachmann.

How can any good tree, bring forth such rotten fruit?

  10. Its time for so called "Christians" like Bachman, Beck, and the rest of the hole in the head gang, to put their Christianity where their mouth is.

Jesus didn't say "some" who take up the sword would perish by it.

He said "ALL" who take up the sword, shall persish by it.

He didn't say we needed to help only the sick who can afford good health insurance.

He said we needed to help all of the sick and poor.

Just getting up and making speeches about their supposed Christian values doesn't make them Christian. Doing the will of the master is what makes one Christian.

Those claiming to be of him but preaching and spreading lies, hate, murder, and abandoment of the poor, are the opposite of Christians, and worse than those never mentioning his name.

Or "anti-Christs", if you will, as Lydia correctly stated.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I didn't see it, but the media isn't exactly promoting the good he's doing. In all my days I can honestly say I've never seen a people work so hard to defeat a newly minted President.

One thing I know I'd like to see is for people to stop calling him "Obama". With President Bush the media always referred to him as either President Bush or "Mr Bush".

But they refer to President Obama as "Obama" so we probably ought not to do it ourselves. I know you don't do it disrespectfully but I just think we should set the example.

    Know what I'm mean?

  16. I may not agree with everything the President does but I know that any decent American would support him and try to work with him to help our country during a time of war and crisis.

But these "republicans" led by the likes of Michelle Bachman and her brood have proven themselves to be willing to destroy the country and tear it apart because they're too small to accept the faxt that they lost the election.

They care more about their party and their corrupt ideals than our country.

    Just like Bush.

    Just like that coward Cheney.

Tancredo tried telling Markos what the "vets want" when Malitos pointed out that HE HIMSELF was a vet, unlike Tancredo who hid behind deferments like the coward Cheney when his time came to go.

    Its a very telling video.

Espeically when Tancredo, demands this vet apologize to him for pointing out his cowardice (he took a deferrment for "depression") and when Malitos told him to stuff it, got up and walked out like the coward he is.

  30. Consider the character of these neoconservative trolls.

Notice we are not hanging out in neoconservative blogs, insulting them and trying to constantly harass and drag them down.

    But they do.

They have hung out in here for years now, with one sole function and that is to attack and harass the liberals, progressives and anyone not siding with their neoconservative doctrines.

Their sole purpose has been to derail discussions, drive off new bloggers and tear down anyone not succumbing to their neo-nazi like dogma.

When this is pointed out, they whine about "playing fair" and point out things said to them to try and thwart the recognition of their own unwanted and unwarranted presence here. And foolishly we often take the bait, and willingly engage them and acknowledge their complaints as if they had some merit, which they do not.

If you want to know the character of these people, just contemplate the nature of a person, who would hang out for years in a blog with those who do not share their views nor desire their input, for the sole purpose of disruption and belittling those present.

We're not in their blogs bothering them, but they're in ours, bothering us.

And that my friends, tells you all you need to know about the character of the likes of these.

In fact, considering their purpose is to try and steal our joy and rob us of our tranquility, they would be better compared to a burglar complaining to the home owner of the house he is robbing about not stocking his brand of beer in the fridge.

Its a hubris on a level seldom achieved by the sane individual.

Of course, what he really needs to do is be straight with the American public and tell us that this Afghanistan mess is an unwinnable war. Yes, Bush dropped the ball back then. But that was then and this is now. The very last thing that this country needs is another Johnson/Nixon/Bush 2 fiasco. If Al Qaeda comes back to Afghanistan again and builds some terrorist training camps, we can easily blow them to smithereens. 41. Moonshine. Hmmm, sounds about right.

Seriously though I've spent some time pondering my time in here, and the nature of these "trolls" who have dug themselves in here deeper than an Alabama tick on a coon-dog, and I'm left with a stark picture of some very rotten, sad individuals who's entire purpose in life is to tear down others.

Yes, there was a time when I was confused because of some of the goings on, but as I said when I began posting again that was little more than a big misunderstanding. I could never align myself with such ugly, hate filled people whose only purpose in life is to drag others down.

Its like I pointed out a few weeks back, if this were the movie "White Noise", then these would be "The Ones Who Like Damage".

There's no good there. No grain of reason and little hope of redeemable quality. America used to be a team. We didn't always get along but we always teamed up during times of crisis, and worked together for the good of the country.

I was just watching the movie "Apollo 13" last night, and I mused on the level of universal brotherhood that used to exist not just in our country, but in the world, as the whole world prayed together for the safe return of these three astronauts. Congress passed a bill calling on Americans to pray for them. In Jerusalem they prayed at the wailing wall, and in Rome the Pope led millions in prayer for these three, Americans lost in space.

That was who we used to be.

But a few generations of "entitlement" has produced an ugly, neoconservative spirit in our country and abroad, where these people, these "ones who like damage" if you will, organize to spread hate, intolerance, fear and all manner of evil. And worse they do it in the name of Christ.

I was looking at the news today, and watched in utter disbelief as these right wing neoconservatives from the so called "Westboro Baptist Church" organized a protest outside of the Sidwell Friends School of all places, carrying signs of hatred (literally, the signs said "God Hates You" and such) to terrorize these little children!

These are elementary school kids! And whats more, the school is run by Quakers, who everyone knows are some of the most decent, kind and tolerant Christians alive.

In what world is this ok? In what world do not decent men stand up and say "ENOUGH!"?

And of course they went there because the Presidents youngest daughter attends there, a sweet, innocent little girl that the Westboro Baptist Church calls "The Spawn of Satan".

So when these "trolls", this band of boneheads who have plagued this blog ever since I first came in, with their hate speech, and their smug mockery of anything good, and their attempts to derail any decent conversation, and their attempts to tear down our spirits and drag us all down to that miserable pit in which their own minds must dwell, I guess I just am out of tolerance for the likes of these.

They don't like the names they're being called?

Then maybe its time someone pointed out to them that you get back in life what you put out.

And if you're going to act like a dirty little troll, hiding behind your dirty little keyboard, to insult, ridicule and harass people, then don't come crying to the blog hostess about the "mean things" being said to you.

Because at that point, you deserve it and more.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And voltron was one of the worst. Because we know he's really "legion" (many demons in one body, or trolls in this instance...of course a troll is just a demon in training), and has haunted this blog for many years.

What sort of character (or lack thereof) does it take to spend your hours trying to tear others down? He even set up a blog designed to mock and ridicule people in here. What sort of person does that?

Not a good one by any measure of the word.

And now, after his last martyr-like departure, where he whined about the things being said to him, I was left to ponder on the incredible level of hubris required to go into a blog with the sole purpose of harassing and ridiculing others, and then complain about being called names.

And worse, how silly are we for caring about his protests? I know I used to. We all did.

Until it dawned on me that his complaints about the names he's being called are like a con artist complaining about being given a bad check.

Its hubris of the boldest kind, and its purpose, at least with the likes of Voltron and his "Non De Plumes" is to keep focus off the fact that his only role here since day one has been to harass and insult others.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just remember, we are not in their blogs harassing them.

He didn't let the GOPers or their paid and deluded goons threaten him from doing what the voters wanted, vote for reform over the status quo.

    Good for him.

We need more congresscritters who are willing to listen to the voters of their district over the rich fat cats on wall street and the corporations who bribe them with campaign donations,

Money is not speech, no matter how much people dishonestly claim it is,

It is simply a medium of exchange, a way to exchange goods or services, not the same as speech because people each have only one voice, but money allows a small minority to unfairly gain an advantage for their minority of voices over the will of the american people who in most polls want reform even with all the dishonest lies and distortions of the right, pushed by right wing hate radio and faux noise.

Money allows the rich (and rich corps)to try to use money to bribe politicians to over rule the will of the voters.

  47. I think Lydia has a pretty good idea of where the name-calling is coming from now. And, no, folks, it isn't at all coming from the people who tend to disagree with her from time to time.

  48. I also find it hilarious that this same blogger who's currently hyperventillating/lambasting Volt - where in the hell did this fellow go when he was having that paranoiac meltdown about Lydia? Yeah, that's right, he went over to the Volt's blog and continued denigrating her over there. I mean, come on, folks, how frigging ironic is that?

  49. New blog thread is up.

I can't seem to publish the last two comments.

I'll see how to do it soon.

  51. That's it will. No one said a word to you but you keep trying to drag me into another tit for tat with your warped versions of reality and your rehashing of things that had nothing to do with you.

Showing your true nature, which is not a "reasonable moderate here to further discussion", but instead a foul, ugly little troll, hiding behind his keyboard trying to stir up contention and derail discussions.

Whenever you see anyone in here talking among themselves, in you come to stir up trouble, derail the topics and drag it all back down into the muck and mire.

Only now folks are tired of it.

We know you're nothing more than a sock puppet for voltron, who when voltron can't sell his right wing dogma, steps in to play the "moderate", who has "concerns".

You're voltron, and I've known that all along.

And voltron is a far right wingut blog troll, either paid or volunteer, which his blog now makes clear.

So take your "concerns" and your lies, and crawl back into your hole.

    No ones biting.

  52. These people are no more Christians than the people behind 9/11 were real Muslims. Both groups are rewriting their religious doctrine to fit their politics. A real Christian would be for peace, helping the least of us, turning the other cheek and showing mercy when there is none.

These self-professed Christians are determined to blame an entire religion because of the actions of a few. That's wrong now and it would have been wrong in 1966.

How many people that year were suddenly suspicious of Catholics after Charles Whitman killed 14 people and wounded 32 others as he shot randomly from a tower on the Austin campus of the University of Texas. Whitman was a practicing Catholic. Notice there were no Catholic Churches bombed in Austin during the rest of that hot Texas summer.

But, then again, Whitman did look like "us".
